- Defining characteristics:
Assessment for presence of a canine tooth or carnassial tooth in the image
- Common differential diagnoses:
A canine or carnassial with the disease has been identified.
- Helpful additional data:
Has there been a decrease in appetite? Or the patient appears hungry but is unwilling to eat?
- Commonly associated treatments:
Consider alternate procedures to avoid extracting the tooth.
- Commonly associated home care:
Depending on the tooth removed, consider soft food for 1-2 weeks
