    One or both of the kidneys is large in size (in relation to the length of the lumbar vertebrae)

  • Common differential diagnoses:
    Acute kidney failure, renal compensatory hypertrophy, hydronephrosis, renal neoplasia

  • Helpful additional data:
    Has the patient been PU/PD? Is there any vomiting?

  • Commonly associated diagnostics:
    Consider *SignalCare MDB, consider abdominal ultrasound if available, consider urine culture
